This project is based on the ideology that diversity breeds harmonious communities. By looking at my university's past, I wanted to answer these questions:
Is Harding intentionally creating a diverse community? Do people consider Harding a diverse community? How do students outside of the white Christian evangelical mold feel at Harding? With this project, I attempted to answer these questions through research and several media components. Click the photo below to see the full project.

The Women's March on Washington was the largest march in history with over one million participants. It all started after the 2016 election with one woman in Hawaii as a hypothetical protesting event. She began to invite women from all over the country and eventually it turned into the largest march ever. A simple Facebook event page turned into a march for the history books. This project is a content analysis of the Women's March's Facebook and Instagram accounts. The march blew up overnight and caused America to look. Over two months, I counted and analyzed every single Facebook and Instagram post from each accounts initial creation up until the end of January 2016. What did they post? When did they post? How many times did they post? What did they share? How did account traffic increase and decrease? How did they develop their brand over time? I tried to answer all of these questions through this content analysis.
